What we do
The foundation will help patients with kidney problems in Sudan through HACF Kidney Center
Where we do it
The center is located in Alhijra, Omdurman, Sudan, in a 10000 square feet land obtained from Alaoghaf.
Why we do it
Kidney failure is very common in Sudan, and currently there are at least 7,200 patients with end stage renal disease (ESRD), who require dialysis to survive. Based on current statistics, there is at least a 2-month waiting period to find a dialysis chair in Khartoum, with the waiting period much longer in other regions of Sudan. It is highly possible that most of the patients will die during this waiting period from the many complications of kidney failure.
